    kobe #1

Good list. I am with Darius on Lebron — he is truly amazing — but so is Kobe, its close.

The big drop-off is after Wade, DWade is clear #3 stud in the league.

I don’t think Durant is top 30 material — I think almost any GM would take Pau Gasol over Durant is starting a team — and I don’t think that is close.

I am with Hank on Bosh, he needs to be above Carmelo, Paul Pierce and Roy and those guys — I would put Bosh up just below Stoudamire at 10.

Also, Chauncey is underrated — as I have stated elsewhere. I am sorry but I am taking Chauncey over Deron Williams if we are just talking near-term — ie, 2008.

Rashard Lewis might need to sneak on to bottom of list.

Funny how Michael Redd and Shawn Marions’ games just fell off cliff.

Agree with Frank on Pau Gasol. He needs to be on the list. Especially with the way he is playing this year. And I’d go Kobe #1, Bron Bron #2. And D…where’s your boy Derrick Rose? I would have thought the new Stricky would have been #4, just behind the big 3?

These lists sure are cute and make for some fun hypotheticals but i’d like to suggest a new list:

Most Likely candidates for March Madness trip 1. D Bursh 2. H Nice 3. The Kid 4. Pooch Frazee

Most likely to show up last minute - 1. MGB

Most Likely to flake & blame the Choppy S/P Futures Index: 1. Frank “Phillips Hall of Fame” Greene

Most likely to say maybe this year, and next and next and…: 1. McChumley

  5. Liz Rice Says:

  7. Lose Man Boobs Says:

Yes Pau Gasol needs to be on this list and Kobe needs to be number 1. But it’s hard to argue agains’t Lebron.
